• Without green plants life on Earth would not exist.

  • Man is not the weaver of the web of life he is merely a strand in it.

  • A "weed" is just a plant where it is not wanted.

  • The difference between a weed and a "plant" is. . . judgment

Non-organic (synthetic/chemical) fertilizers are to a lawn what drugs are to an addict. The "fake" fertilizers destroy the lawn's support system (the soil micro-organisms) so the lawn has no choice but to depend on the chemicals.

Feed the soil, not the plant

It is futile, impossible and unhealthy to completely eliminate all pests from our lawns

Pesticides will kill "pests"(and other beneficial organisms) but will not change the conditions that encourage pests

Deep, infrequent watering (of lawn) promotes deep root growth therefore stronger healthier plants

A lawn is composed of hundreds of thousands to millions of tiny grass plants

Grasses have a limited, preferred cutting height range. Cutting your grass too short for its range causes weak, non-vigorous growth and allows other plants ("weeds" - especially the sun loving ones - no grass to shade them out now) to displace the grass plants
Rule of thumb is cut no more than 1/3 of blade length

For optimal health lawn plant roots need a minimum of 20 cm (8 in) in humus rich, fertile, well-aerated soil with millions of beneficial organisms
